holtehero
Got a slight rattle when i turn the engine off, when the engine is running at idle or revved its perfectly quiet, Listening to where this comes from i guess it sounds a bit like a manifold vibration Will the Nissan dealer look at this as part of P2 if i ask them? holtehero
take the little kid in the passenger seat with the toy out of the car Quite frankly that will never happen So its a bit of a common thing then, have to confess it sounds more like a heatshield loose or a loose bolt on the manifold. think i will ask the dealer to make sure when they have it in next Thursday
Trev-the-Rev
Since it's going in for a service anyway, ask them to have a look.
H5
Since it's going in for a service anyway, ask them to have a look. ...... but ask them to sit in while you do it. Otherwise they'll be 'roadtesting' all day!
Jimbo
Mine does it too, so does my mates R34 GTR skyline, must be a Nissan thing
holtehero
Funnily enough, it only does it when the engine is cold (i guess its the whole car) After a quick run it doesn't do it, so i definitely think its due to something being a bit loose. Mind you it sounds like quite a few people have the same symptoms so it does indeed sound like a common thing
