JordanHill
Im slightly confused as to the wiring of the headunit! I have a red and white phono and a yellow and black phono from the car harness. However i seem to need 3? Red and white for front speakers another red and white for rears and then the yellow and black for sub? Maybe im doing it wrong? Cheers in advance! Briggsybriggs1
The sub is powered from the amp in the back so you should have as spire left over (the sub one) that coming out off the head unit, Have unit Have you used the buster mod on here. ? It's a must have :-) ,

EvansJD2112
Red and white for front speakers; black and yellow for the rear and sub (assuming you have Bose setup) As said above, the sub is fed by the same output as the rears. Make sure you have the blue wire connected, this is the remote power on for the amp. If all is working except for the sub, try checking you don't have a high pass filter set - this would stop the rears receiving low frequency sounds ie bass that the sub would play.
JordanHill
Il have to have a look at this tomorrow so yellow and black plug into the sub input for headunit? And set it to high pass filter? I do indeed have bose and blue wire is connected as it should
EvansJD2112
Yellow and black into the rear speaker output of your headunit. Sub output on your headunit will not be used. I asked the question myself last year when first replacing the Bose HU
