14N
Some very nice stuff there. Bet that first z1000 was scary! Especially with the skinny Metzeler on the back. The star of the show, for me, simply must be the yellow Honda Melody. So much of a raw, untamed animal, you couldn't even keep the front wheel down when it was parked up! I had a 180cc Gilera Runner , you need to paddock bike to tow the drag bike back , they have no ground clearance and the clutch is mostly shot after a run

Daveyboy11
Very nice cars/bikes! Love the R34, what are they like to drive?? Also, massive respect for getting on a drag bike and taking it up the strip! I have been going to Santa pod since I was about 5 and my dad raced drag cars for a number of years and I always had such admiration for the drag bikes that are doing unreal times! Richf
Might get a bit of a slating here but imo the perception of Skylines is often unrealistic as most peoples experience of them is based on a video game. They are heavy old beasts mine was around 1500kgs , the GTR is 130-150 heavier so thats like having a 25 stone passenger all the time BUT They are well built , look the dogs danglies and are great GT cars , powerful smooth and simply eat up the miles Very similar vein to the Zed imo , they can be made to handle well and they can be modified to be absolute beasts but that often makes them less enjoyable to drive when you cant go flat out , I prefer the 2wd versions they do feel lighter and more lively on the road the RB25 has variable valve timing and makes torque more easily than the 26 so on the road at stockish power levels they are nicer as well, the RB25 neo as fitted to the R34 Skylines is the best RB engine nissan made imo , shame they didnt develop the 26 like they did the 25 , although the latter is much better for tuning.
KyleR
Nice cars, nice to see a 34 in s colour other than white or blue Whats the auto box like in it?
Richf
Underrated i think , it suits the car very much , I can understand why people dont like them but everyone who drives it compliments the 'box You have a sequential manual mode if you want and you can also use the steering wheel buttons to shift but i rarely do . Its no dsg of course like my daily driver but still great for a GT car . It is however ridiculously over geared , 7k in 4th gear is 186mph and likely unachievable with 300hp , 3rd gear will see about 120mph so on a fast cross country drive you only really toggle between 2nd and 3rd

Tricky-Ricky
Very nice fella! I too have a history with bikes and cars, used to build a lot of custom bikes, and then when I couldn't ride any more due to health, I switched to big power Japanese cars.
