longsh07
Considering replacing my current headlights with the 06+ version, mostly as I prefer the way they look. Sure I saw something on this forum but I cant find it now! Is it as straight forward a swap as my350z.com makes out (http://my350z.com/fo...alkthrough.html)? marzman
Regardless of whether it's straight forward or not, the harder job will be finding a set for sensible money unfortunately.
longsh07
Thought that might be the case
Neilp
You're probs looking between 600-1000 for a set with ballast and lamps.
WhackyWill
Very hard to find a set of genuine ones there are aftermarket ones from the US but check they are UK spec, ie: the beam throw is not to the wrong side, they do supply for the R/H market.
longsh07
So assuming I can find a (edit: Genuine) set, that are UK spec, and I dont have to take out a loan to afford, their just plug and play right? KyleR
They're plug and play to all uk Zeds, yep, imports if they came from the factory with Xenons. I have a drivers side if you can find the passenger side to match

KyleR
Not seen a GT4 with facelift lights, you may be the first You have the rear LEDs yet?
longsh07
Not yet, assume they are a straight swap too? To be honest it's a bit of a pipe dream at the moment and I'm hoping to have Abbey do some performance work first.
KyleR
The rears are a straight swap also, yea, but you may have to file down the connectors a little because the LED ones are a mirror image of the old style.

To be honest it's a bit of a pipe dream at the moment and I'm hoping to have Abbey do some performance work first. I have the LED rears on my Yellow GT4. Definitely do it, looks so much better! It's a pity the facelift front xenons are so expensive. I'm sure they'd look sweet.
