Madhatter
Finally got the car in my lock up after nearly grounding it (can't believe how low the 350z generally is) and now setting about doing an overhaul for the show season next year. Part of that was hopefully replacing the scratched rear windscreen - however a quote from AutoGlass for a replacement window and fitting left me in shock. £890 inc vat and delivery!!!! Hell another £4k and I can get another 350z lol Is this really the normal price? does anyone know cheaper options?

Grundy
Don't know about rear, but my insurance did my front screen for £75. Didn't effect my premiums.
bizz
I should be replacing mine with a Plexi-glass version so mine might be up for sale if that's any good to you ;-)
Floydbax
I would be PMing Zmanalex he is bound to have a few spare ones lying around for sale
WhackyWill
Don't you have glass cover on you insurance policy ?.
Gudzy
Might be cheaper to just replace the whole rear section: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280725080156
AliveBoy
You've got to be really careful shipping a screen, might be worth meeting someone like Bizz at a screen fitter in the middle of you and getting them to swap it over and install his plexi for him too. Or depending on colour/ condition just swapping tailgates over.
jumping350
What colour is your car?
Madhatter
Hi All I didn't think I'd be able to do a successful insurance claim as it's only scratched rather than seriously damaged, cracked or smashed. I can still see fine out of it, but when walking around the scratches are quite clear. Been thinking about a breaker and getting one there but can't be sure I'll get a "good" one Bizz where you based? that might be the perfect solution! Jumping350 I've got a gun metal (dark) 350z.... bizz
I'm based up in Darlington (North East) It's already out of the car had it taken out with all the other glass.... well with everything else it was ever fitted with in the factory lol
tony.r123
Yup that's the price, had to have mine replaced after the hail storm last year. It's that expensive as it's a main dealer part only and Autoglass will have to purchase it from Nissan

SamN
I've got a complete bootlid spare, needs a respray but if you wanted it for the glass it'd be perfect! PM me if you want pictures/more info etc!
