spursmaddave
I'd only have an Ipad if someone gave me one, just don't see the point in them, Have an iPhone. and if you go, you can watch films on journeys, battery will just die after a couple of hours etc. On the subject of iStuff. I'm going to get the 5S soon. Anyone else got one and what are your thoughts? I've got the 4S at the moment (giving it to my brother for his Christmas pressie, hence the change) I'm sticking with the 4s, build quality is better, made from better materials. Heavier doesn't always mean better build quality.... Sent from the golf club... 5 and 5's are made from plastics. 4s was not. Not sure about the screen on the 5's but I know on the 4s they are the same material (ish) that are used on helicopter screens. I thought the same when I got my 5, preferred the solid feel and weight of the 4S but after a while it (5/5S) is far easier to use and it is made just as well. Now if I pick up my missus 4S it feels heavy and clumsy... Sent from the golf club...
Tinyflier
Logged on to Apple Store at 7:05 this morning and ordered one as part of my girlfriend's Christmas goodies. Was expecting long lead time - nope will be despatched in 24 hrs! Now the hard bit is making sure that I don't purloin it to replace my iPad 2 and then have to buy a second one! Ekona
Too light? As in fragile? Not at all, really nice to hold and it'll certainly be more comfortable than my current Retina one.

mattross1313
That's Christmas pressies sorted Ah you shouldn't have, thanks Will I work with a lot of Apple tech as we provide retail apps, so I am lucky enough to get a lot of the latest Apple goodies. I wouldn't be without my iPhone 5, and agree with Dave, even the 4S now feels old and clumsy. Might have to stark hinting around at work for an iPad upgrade

stuarty
Ive got both an iPad 4 and iPad mini. Both sit side by side at home and 99% of the time i pick the iPad mini up. Think its due to the ergonomics of the mini. Ipad 4 has a better screen, but for what i use it for the mini is great. Also i really don't see the difference between my iPad 4 and my old iPad 2 it replaced. Ive recently started using my samsung netbook for Uni work and i find it really slow and awkward compared to the iPads. My wife finds the iPad 4 a bit heavy and its too large for her to comfortably hold, so i really only use it when she's using the mini.

sipar69
iPad 4 is v nice but quite heavy. Could be tempted by a lighter one.
