Humpy
How have i missed this thread, the car looks super sexy. Get that new spoiler on quick is all I can say! What else is planned for the car?
KyleR
The ducktail looks good in that image, but i'd like to see it from other angles. I'm a fan of having a proper spoiler on the R35.
grahamc
Aweason looking car, looks so much better without the massive wing on the back!! The car was originally designed with having the ducktail, but the marketing guys stepped in and said that a "GTR" must have a spoiler.... Great looking GTR mate bet your loving the launch control XD That new bootlip looks nicee! The launch control is entertaining, but dont use it that often.... the revised traction control is a lot of fun Gorgeous motor mate, go ducktail FTW, looks much smoother. Thanks! Thats my thinking and pretty much as good on the aero side How have i missed this thread, the car looks super sexy. Get that new spoiler on quick is all I can say! What else is planned for the car? definitely! Not too much really.... front speaker and amp kit has just been released, new brake setup (once the stock discs die), custom rear spoiler (Sly will be doing this it will be removable and for track days and events only), track wheels (18" opens up a lot of option tyre wise) and semi-slick tyres and possibly the Litchfield suspension (but its still VERY expensive). Will be a long term car and eventually (3-5 years time) it will go to full track car, but for now it will stay as a fast road (with some track) car. The ducktail looks good in that image, but i'd like to see it from other angles. I'm a fan of having a proper spoiler on the R35. Will post up some more pictures once its all done
Arran
That new ductail boot looks soooooo much better than anything I've seen on a gtr before, beautiful! Lovely in red to!

leonk
Great thread and nice looking car. I'm with you on the ducktail rear, definitely an improvement.
wizurd
That spoiler does look stunning in that pic. Lovely car and like others have said can't remember seeing a red one before. Edited November 2, 2013 by wizurd
TomS
I've been tempted by a ducktail rear myself, they do look awesome! Car looks great in red, I bet it stays much cleaner than my bloody black one! You can always pickup the MY11 suspension for around £800 instead of £3.5k for Litchfields, that's what I'm currently having fitted along with a few other bits. Are you running OEM exhaust except for y-pipe? Edited November 2, 2013 by TomS
sipar69
Do you guys with GTRs have any issues with the size - finding parking spaces etc?
TomS
I park the GTR jut as I parked my 350z, away from everyone else It is a big car but it will fit in a space if needed, I try not to though as it's just asking for a pleb to bash their door on yours! Ewen@Clark Motorsport
Interested to hear you are going to run 18" wheels, will they fit over the standard brakes ok?

I'm pretty much the same with the 370. Pick the place to park very carefully and park as far away as possible from everyone
LRF4N
Nice project. I was liking the spoilerless look and loving the ducktail until I saw the pic Leon posted- now I'm not sure Red is the best colour for a 35 by far

Are you running OEM exhaust except for y-pipe? Gets a lot of swirls as the GTR hardcoat is crap, but a good detailer fixes it, mine is done by ValetMagic. I am thinking about the MY11 suspension, but waiting to see what the newer versions are like. Milltek downpipes and Whifbitz ypipe, stock rear section. Whats been done to yours? Do you guys with GTRs have any issues with the size - finding parking spaces etc? It is big, but I tend to park it away from everything else and pick my parking lots well I'm so jealous, this is beautiful! I'v promised myself that one day I will own a GTR, phenomenal car :teeth: Keep that promise!!! Well worth it!!!! That spoiler does look stunning in that pic. Lovely car and like others have said can't remember seeing a red one before. I have not seen a matched red one.... only a white one and neon yellow in the US Edited November 3, 2013 by grahamc
TomS
Mines a Litchfield stage 4 with Eibach ARBs and a full GTC titanium 90mm exhaust. Picking it up tomorrow afternoon with russ fellows downpipes, MY11 suspension, new sub & amp, front/rear dashcams, GFB blow off valves, sound deadened rear seats and boot! Should hopefully be making 650hp and have a good but of noise, not that it was lacking in either power or noise before this weekends round of mods! Let me know how you find the MY11 suspension, its an interesting option. I have only seen 1 stage 4 car hit 650bhp and that was Jamies and he was running the Syvecs ECU. 620-630 is still a decent amount of power, also keep in mind that the torque needs to be kept down, unless you fancy an engine build (rods just cannot take it). Going for the sub/amp upgrade from the GTR forum member? Thats what I have, I got one of the original set, awesome upgrade!! Cant wait for his front speaker and amp upgrade

grahamc
Im a big in your face spoiler type of guy but it does look good Thats coming later Mount will go around the number plate, bolt directly to the chassis (not just the bootlid), will be detachable and will come out around the boot lid and up to the height of the roof.... Sly is going to make the mounting plate, just need to find a specialist to make the spoiler.
