Flex
So I bought a set of 17 import wheels to put some winter tyres on, contacted a seller on ebay as he had some 225 50 17's and asked if he had the rears (235), this is the reply, is it true? 'No sorry I don't have any 235/50x17's but I do have a pair of 225/55x17's. These are the same rolling radius just slightly narrower which would benefit you in the snow etc.' Yours truly, Tyre dunce
ph 7
I asked a similar question here not too long ago: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76659-winter-tyre-questions-for-jdm-17-wheels/ Never really got an answer but my calcs showed that in order to keep the staggered effect and keep rolling radius similar was 215/55/17 Front and 225/55/17 Rear. I've recently got the correct sizes off ebay, be patient and they will show up, they are expensive as they are rarer. Just need to get them put on my JDM alloys now and then put those on my car. Now that the temps are hitting single digits I'll switch to winters.
Flex
Cheers Dude, I've just ordered some rears off ebay standard size, all seems too complicated for me so I'll go with standards and be safe.
