4RE Leather
At least with the stainless steel one it is fabricated to fit the underneath and not the composite. It's a shame I can't get some decent shots of mine put up. I need to get it back on the ramp and lay down underneath it !!! Once people see how excellent it is I am sure they will want one. Clown
The good news is the towing eye made it. The bad news is I lost the rear towing eye cover while I was spinning in some gravel!
Humpy
Full story please Clown, saw your post/picture on Stalkbook. What happened out there?
dErZ
Did you get back ok after your kitty litter outing? Did the stewards help with your belts?
Clown
I kind of lifted off where they told me not to lift off. Span a bit and came a bit close to the barriers. The mechanic in the workshop sorted me out as much as they could without my locking wheelnut! They deflated the tyres and picked out all the stones. Took off my undertray and removed as much of the stones as they could. Told me to shake the car a bit to get the other stones out. Shopping list after this session is: Auxiliary belt thing - only two ribs were shorn off. Nearside wing mirror glass thing Nearside clear indicator plastic thing Rear towing eye cover thing Towing eye thing Respray thing (was needed anyway) Wheel refurbishment thing (was needed anyway) Edited October 28, 2013 by Clown

Humpy
Glad to see your car is not any dirtier than normal Clown Guess it could of been a lot worse, long as no one was hurt etc.
dErZ
It's great they helped with the car mate. Surprised that the stones caused so much damage, I thought the under tray would of protected the belts.
Ebized
Brings back memories of a visit to a track day there last March when a DB9 went off into the gravel -see pics in my post (No.6) here: http://www.350z-uk.c...ne#entry1015114 and his mirror was shattered by trying to reverse out of the kitty litter....as well as doing a lot of other damage

Clown
The wheels are fine The guys in the workshop helped me out when they didn't really have to! Absolute respect to the lads there. They picked out the stones from the wheels but as I left my locking nut at home, they couldn't get to one wedged between the pad and discs. It's the clear bit under the Z badge on the side. wmr1980
The only track days I've done were on 2 wheels, and the nurburgring in a hire car Really need to get back into doing them... Once this wedding thing is done with and I have spare cash!
