Crb
Hi all, I'm currently in the process of removing the interior plastics ready for dipping but I'm having trouble taking out the large centre console (the one with the 3 pods and cubby) has anyone who has done this got any tips for taking it out or am I missing something like any hidden screws etc Mine seems well and truly in there. Also to make matters worse the alpine head unit won't come out either. HELP!!!!
Floydbax
http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/dash_removal/ Pretty simple job, the electrical connectors being the hardest part IMHO, it gives you a little more room for working if you pry out the connecting wire loom at the top centre behind the dials.
Randy_Baton
Good guide on this forum as well. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/45398-bose-phono-ipod-hack-guide/ The two hardest parts I found were unclipping the lead that connects to the 3 gauges at the top and then when everything was undone getting the metal cage that holds the stereo over the white plastic box at the bottom that I think holds the air con circuitry. I got round this by undoing one side of the metal stereo cage from the plastic dash.
