cjh
Hi Guys...Im looking to jack my car up for the first time. After a quick flick through the service manual I noticed it suggests the use of a Kent-Moore Safety stand attachment (I assume this is for axle stands). Does anyone know where to get these or even if they are necessary? Cheers
Ekona
Completely unnecessary, don't worry about them

leonk
Depends what you intend doing. If you're going under the car, raising it quite high or taking off more than one wheel, then axle stands would be a safe bet.
Ekona
The stand attachment referred to is otherwise known as a jack pad, and if you've got decent axle stands then you don't really need them.
