David1951
I'm sure this topic comes up frequently! The original exhaust in my 350 has after 65k started to fail. What parts will I require for my local small garage to replace the system? I guess I will need new cats? Will the old cats be worth. Anything? Thanks. MITZ@CougarStore
David, best to check which parts have failed, if you're local to Leicester we'd be happy to take a look for you... Usual culprit areas are the flexis on the Y pipe and the join between the mid and rear silencer... Lots of exhaust options available from us so feel free to call or PM and we'd be happy to help... Jp606
As above, have a look at what is broken and replace what is necessary. I can't imagine the cats have failed. If the flexis have broken then a new Y-pipe will be sufficient and if the mid pipe to back box connection is broken then a weld repair or a y-pipe back system will do. HAMLNJ
Flexi and rear box join apparently is the typical fails. Mine looked awful.
