dbass
Ok so I had an oil change the other day, but because the oil is so clean it's difficult to see what level on the dipstick it is at.. I've wiped it completely clean and redippped it but still hard to see. The back of the dipstick seems to have more oil going up the back of it.. Than the front.. I don't know I'm used to seeing it quite clearly on my other previous cars... Does anyone else have this issue?
chubbster
As dipsticks go, the 350z one is a total dog. You've probably picked up a bit of oil on one side while the dipstick was travelling on its tortuous route either up or down the shaft. Just keep trying - eventually you'll get a reading you can believe.
dbass
I hope there is enough oil in there!

WhackyWill
Zed Dipstick was designed by a dipstick...its the worse piece of engineering to come out of Nissan..
ATTAK Z
It's best to check after an overnight rest on a level surface ... that will give you an accurate cold level
jollyranchers
as above , do it from cold. You get two goes to check it before the oil is dragged up the dipstick pipe and gives you a crappy readings whoever designed that dip stick arrangement should be ashamed
