Changed headunit and now no side lights?

Changed my headunit and used the correct harness and have ended up with no sidelights - I done a search and read that there is a wire dor dimming the original radio when the lights are on - any help would be welcome - thanks

Have you checked fuses?

yes all fuses check even in the box behind the battery!
