SteveM
the only company that i know of that makes one is smoothline in the states and they are not cheap... add shipping and import duty and it will be VERY pricey! http://www.smoothline.com/nissan_350z.php not sure how good the fitment is on these either why do you need a hard top for a bit of snow? just go out there and brush it off each day? dErZ
I have toyed with the smoothline hard top but as Steve has stated it would work out very expensive with the cost of the roof, shipping, import tax and then painting the roof! Ive been investigating replacement mohair fabric roofs from the states and that is alot more affordable than I expected. I got a quote for a geniune nissan roof and it was £2378 excluding vat! I dont think so! Alot of the Z33 owners in the states have replaced their vinyl roofs with mohair all by themselfs so I need to look in to that side of things a bit more. There are UK companies on the net that will do it for you for about £440, doesn't seem worth the hassle of doing it yourself, especially if something goes wrong and the roof leaks or won't open/close properly. dErZ
Care to elaborate on which companies? Theres http://www.carhood.com/nissan/ where the roof is £703 and then you have fitting on top of that. Just called them and they said with fitting its £850 with a years warranty so thats not too bad. I think your right it would be easier to just get them to do it..
SteveM
https://www.carhoods...&productId=2605 although that is £440 ex VAT Edited September 25, 2013 by SteveM

dErZ
is your hood bad then d? Not really 'see below' but when I come to sell it I think it would be easier to sell with a new roof http://i3.photobucke...zps0ad04363.jpg so I put a bit of wet suit glue think its called 'Stormsure' which keeps it water tight. SteveM
6 year warranty! thats not bad
SteveM
i would question the sanity of doing stuff like that to sell it... if you are thinking of doing it then do it now while you get to have the benefit of it especially if it comes with a 6 year warranty
SteveM
sorry just noticed you are already trying to sell.... shame as you have only had the car a short while
dErZ
I spent 2 hours the other day cleaning it and then resealing the roof so it beads beautifully ummmm beading.
