MDMetal
Hey guys, ever since I owned the car the fuel caps little cord has been snapped, no biggie. Anyways I picked up a second hand cap with cord and the metal plate for a deal on ebay. Now I'm wondering how you fit the thing? I've checked the manual and can't find any reference to it and having had a look its no a question of just unscrewing and sliding out, does the rear quarter panel need removing? I'm hoping not just to swap a piece of plastic! Any help greatly appreciated!

KyleR
The rear quarter can't be removed, it's welded on, but might be able to reach from the arch some way?
Mopedmark
Oh yer no problem really two ways to do it.First and easiest is that you can just pop the pip so to speak we're the wire joins the plate you can just press the pip out then pop your new one back in.Second you can undo the two screws and with a bit of wiggling you can remove the plate and the petrol flap will come out as well, take pics as you go so you know how it goes back together. Its pretty easy as you go through it
