replacing stock bose stereo with new HU

Hi,

I've got the stock BOSE stereo and an empty cubby hole (no Sat Nav).

The basic thing I want is:

Some way to connect my iphone (that isn't one of those tapes with a headphone lead)

Some form of reversing sensor - a camera would be nice but not all that necessary.

I have the tomtom app on my phone so I'm not desperately in need of a Sat Nav but a large screen would be of use. So can you get double din HU's with a decent SatNav already built in? or would I be better to go for a separate satnav?

I'd love to be able do the work myself, but I've no garage and can't even park outside my house for long so it would be a P.I.T.A.

I'm guessing most of this should be run of the mill for someone with a bit of expertise, any recommendations for places in the South East? I'm based in Brighton.

The search function is your friend for headunit advice and rear camera.

You will need the right adapter when replacing the HU on a Bose system.

If you change this and the sound is really quiet you will need to perform the Buster mod, that can be found by searching as well.

I've put the following reversing sensors on both my 370z and my campervan. They are really easy to install, they are cheap as chips (currently £14.95) and they work brilliantly (bleep when you select reverse, etc). They are proper. My 370z is silver and the silver option is a perfect colour match.

Here's the ebay link to the product - REVERSING SENSORS
