deankenny
My headlights had been misty, condensated, mucky or whatever its called since i had the 350. I tried everything to clean them, but just came back up 10 mins later. Took it to a specialist Valet in my area, at £20 a light, hes made them look brand new, its changed the whole front look of the car alot smarter im well happy. Although car was sold before i had them done and deposit left by new buyer, i still went ahead and got them done because im good like that. Heres how it was before, looked alot worse to the eye than this pic does. Then after
coldel
£20..hmmm...wasso did mine some time back, bit of Megs Compound and 2 mins with the polisher and got the same effect.
A9H-RX
£20 a light is a bit steep but hey ho, looks good, proper job

deankenny
Good job and fair price, and kudos to you for doing this after the car was sold. Alex. Thank you, yes he did spend over an hour doing them, prepping them, etcetc, was no rush cowboy job i can tell ya. New owner is from this forum, and i wanted the lights done for a long time regardless if it was sold or not, ive sent him pics of them also Im more than happy with the outcome, considering how they did look like before. coldel
Absolutely, fair play to you for doing it for the next owner, hope they carry that Karma on to any further owners! But £40 to polish a couple of headlights, sat here shaking my head. I do this myself on my current car takes ten minutes not one hour, think you have had £40 stolen out your wallet. Sorry
Stutopia
Look great and I don't think the price is too high. If you called out an emergency plumber he'd want £75 just to arrive, this job is way more important

Seriously, it doesn't take an hour and it doesn't need lots of prep and effort. Ian and I stood there and said 'hey I wonder if Megs Compound would work on those lights' and 5 mins later they looked like yours. Just to confirm, we were not wearing cowboy hats.

This is my 2nd Zed, been a member for a while now Just adding to the collection í ½í¸ I so nearly bought another Zed, just given that I spent so much on the previous one, felt I had to start anew on a different car! Love Zeds and still go along to meets. Whereabouts are you located?
dbass
£20 for both lamps I would say was more than enough but for both, that is to much IMO. fair play for getting it done and looking after them , but very steep price.
deankenny
I did try alot and i mean alot of things to clean them, all the high quality stuff from halfords, normal valeters the works nothing worked, the place i got them done deal with Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, GTR's etc, its quite a premium place, i knew the price and am happy to pay for a job well done. Vik54
Nice job - and as Alex has already said that was kind of you to do if you had already sold
greg tl
£20 doesn't sound too bad considering how annoying it would be if you polished thru if you didn't know what you were doing!! Good Karma too.
gillywig2
Good results. Did he tape the surrounding areas of bodywork?
cs2000
Good results. Did he tape the surrounding areas of bodywork? Looks like not, which would have concerned me, but tbh I would have paid £20 for that, the horrible yellow headlights look nasty.
coldel
...£20 per light, not £20.
