Chesterfield
most proper performance wheels are not even made in 20".... guess the reason Now bearing in mind I know next to nothing about wheels I thought you could get proper sporty wheels in 20" Work and Volk make 20" rims. Work Meister S1 come in 20" Porsche Carrera GT has 20 inch rims on the rear.
Removed
does that mean all those brands make just performance wheels? Rays make many cast models, (and of course Volk) and so do Work. You have to sell tat some times in order to be able to afford to produce quality items
sl114
I think everyone has a point on this. However everything is opinion and assumptions. It will be known that a 20" wheel on crap tyres will be a lot worse at handling and ride than the same "type" of tyre with a different side wall thickness on a smaller size. Thats common sense really! However, different size wheels and different brands of tyres, suspension, road quality, driver style, tyre pressure etc etc etc come into consideration so it is impossible for anyone to win this argument. All just beg to differ as no one is right or wrong on this due to the endless possibilities of combinations that will affect the outcome.
