After many years some time back with a special and loved 220hp Opel Monza coupe, I have wanted a 370z for some time but family etc...... After coming across one this week, the wife has suddenly got very interested in them but I would be allowed to drive it sometimes! She only has concerns that the lowness and flat floor might give her troubles getting in and out - her present car is a sit up and beg variety. The Monza wasn't a problem (younger then) but I suspect the compactness of say a MX5 would be. Basildon Nissan haven't one in and don't know any dealers that might have, (not helpful at all really), so would any kind enthusiast within easy travelling of Basildon Essex contact me so that we might meet up for my wife to actually sit in one and look at the gorgeous looks. Trying to strike while the iron is hot! If suitable, I would probably be going for one around 2 to 4 years old, and the auto/paddle shift gears - our current utility car is Skoda with DSG gearbox, but the model just to see isn't important - its just the driver/passenger driving position/in/out stuff. Sorry we`re too far away to be of any use in letting you try it but I can tell you that the wife does think it`s too low and definitely wouldn`t be a car of choice for her but then she did pick a Vauxhall Mokka to be extra high up and get 50 odd mpg. She says it can be awkward to get in and out depending on how much room there is at the side and insists on a cushion for longer journeys as the seats so low.
