sam350z2013
Hi, Was wondering what the 'slip' sign is as it came on for a brief moment and then went ? I'm lead to believe this is something to do with tyres ? Any advice would be much appreciated as I bought the car and didn't come with a owners manual 0-0 . Thanks in advance! samsniss350z
If you were a little enthusiastic going round a bend or corner then the slip sign will light up on the dash albeit briefly just to let you know its working. You mention tyres, if you're running tyre sizes with too much of a difference between circumferences then you'll find the slip light coming on regularly and the ride will not be pleasant at all. I'm thinking enthusiastic driving around a corner is the cause of the light as it went out pretty much straight away. Hope this is of some help. HORNZEE
It's the traction control
Stutopia
You may find your manual here, not sure if it'll be UK version but it may help in future. As with all web downloads probably best to scan the file with a decent tool before unleashing it. http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/deptog.aspx?dept_id=39 My slip light used to flash up, it prefers roundabouts under spirited or damp conditions . Don't see it anywhere near as much now I've ditched the previous owners mixed Bridgestones.
wmr1980
Just turn off the traction control - it never shows up then.....
