NeilMH
If you use a "normal"garage just make sure you prescribe the oils and parts you want used - you can supply them yourself (following diagnosis) and pay them for labour.
DoubleU
Welcome and congratulations - you won't be disappointed, it's a fantastic car. Wish I'd had one when I was 21. Great advice from NeilMH. Use the forum search well and you'll find all the info you need. Zmanalex is a good source too. And until you've got the hang of it, don't turn off the traction control for a while, esp in the wet!
NeilMH
Just another thought. If your rear anti-roll bar drop links are badly worn they would also be contributing to a significant degree to the sloppy handling issue. I would start there.
