All engine performance modifications were carried out in 2012 & the car has since covered less than 10k faultless miles

I`ve owned the car for coming upto 6years, it has been garaged whenever not in use, never driven over the winter months & rarely driven in the wet so the condition of the entire car reflects this. It has always been run on Shell V-power, only the best oils, fluids & cleaning products are used. The reliability of the car has been impeccable, other than consumable items such as tyres & brakes the car has been perfect, has never used a drop of oil between services, the only issues I`ve had are: the clutch slave cylinder failed in 2009 & was replaced with a genuine Nissan part & the stock battery failed in July 2013 & replaced with an EXIDE premium battery.

The car is in A1 condition & I have a huge folder full of receipts for all modifications & consumable parts I`ve had it for nearly 6years & it`s time for me to move on to the next exciting Z-car build.

£17000

open to reasonable offers & any unwanted parts can be replaced with OEM

All OEM parts are available @ an extra cost

There are many members on here that can vouch for the condition of my car, how it drives & just how meticulous I am about taking care & pride in the car.

I`ll probably give it until the end of the month to see if the right buyer comes along, to be honest I doubt it will sell. The price IS a good price, if you add up all the NEW prices for all parts on the car I doubt it will be less than this. So please unless you have something positive to say please re-frame from posting on this thread & save the mods the job of tidying it ;)

If the car doesn`t sell I`ll be stripping it back to stock the beginning of October & selling parts individually.

Pictures of the cars current condition with new sat nave HU & facelift lights to follow shortly

Unquestionably one of he most cared for cars I've seen, I spoke to Darren during the planning of this build and his research and attention to detail are second to none. An ideal purchase for someone out there who doesn't want the research and the hard work. The car has been and continues to be a credit to you mate. :)

OMG Sorry to see you go Darren! Who's going to get us lost on Wales meets now?!? :scare::lol: What are you getting next, did I see you post something about a lighter car?

GLWTS, if you're selling the number plate on the car you haven't mentioned that though, maybe add "currently running a safe 429 RWHP with a private plate to match"?

I also Mirror Graham's post, a car that I'd buy that's for sure. Knowing what Darren knows about cars, he's hands on to maintain the car and ensure it's tip top.

Even I'm sat here doing the maths...... I shouldn't, but I would for this car. It would be a great shame to strip her, as she's a fantastic example of how a car should be FI'd. No expense spared.

(Excuse me whilst I just doing some calculating) :ninja:

Good luck with the sale - Darren's knowledge of what goes on under the hood of Zeds and cars in general is pretty much second to none bar the people that do this for a living. You can know for sure this car is in tip top condition and will give many a smile per mile to whoever it ends up going to. Fingers crossed it doesn't get broken up and goes to an equally good home as where it currently resides.

GLWTS Darren, its a fantastic Zed which you've had a terrific amount of work done on at no expense spared. Having seen it a number of times in Wales and followed it (albeit briefly! ) it is a cracking example. Whoever buys this from you will be very happy I'm sure.

Hope you have something fun lined up to replace it with :)

This isnit funny anymore. First Octet then now you  WTF!

I am dreading when I finally hit all my goals as it looks like this prompts selling :)

Anyway it would be nice to see this car stay here as Dazza has kept it sweet and properly modified at the business end. However it will probably be parted out so vultures stay alert.

In any case Darren I'm happy you are considering another zed car as it would be a same to loose you to the Laguar brigade :D

I'm sure there is someone out there with enough cojones  to buy this beauty&beast.

I like Darren's approach on how he built this beast, very stealth, looks plain OEM car, but when you're ready to play, becomes serious!

In fact, to make it even faster, add a smaller 3.12" pulley and the charge pipe, take it down to Mark@AbbeyMS for a re-tune and you're pushing safely a 450rwhp and 370lb/ft torque :D

The car looks spotless and drives superb, road or track!

And yes, Darren, make sure you stay here, forget about Laguar XKrap or Laguar XFail
