Neoncypher
Hi guys, Like I say this might be a long shot but....I don't suppose anyone has a can of plastidip copper metalizer they want rid of? Having a nightmare trying to get any, been waiting for stock from plastidip uk for literally months... I'm going to plastidip my wheels a subtle bronze, I already have the black main/under coat, I just need the copper for the effect... Cheers, Adam
jumping350
have you tried these guys?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USA-Aerosol-Performix-Plasti-Dip-400ml-Aerosol-Metalizer-Glossifier-Smoke-/330987763424?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item4d106876e0
Neoncypher
Hi, yeah I emailed those guys earlier, he has everything but the copper.. It's annoying because it's available in the USA but not here...
Dblock
Does that stuff not make it really really hard to peel off?
jumping350
As far as im aware no as it sits on top of the plastidip layer which should be heavy coating and this is only light coating over the top, that's how the glossifier works so would of thought this would be the same
Dblock
Ahh fair enough. I'm sure I read something about that. Guess not lol.
Neoncypher
Yeah, as jumping350 says, so long as you have built up a nice thick coat underneath, then the enhancers are just sitting on top of that. Well, they would be, if I could bloody get some!
Faraz
In the same boat. I'm after some 'vintage gold' metaliser. Emailed loads of sellers but none of them have any.
Neoncypher
I didn't even know they did a vintage gold ....If anyone is interested, I've just heard back from the plastidip uk sales people, who say that they should be expecting the copper metalizer in a few weeks. I had a similar email several months ago though, so I'm skeptical.
dave1221
does anyone know how much of the metalizer you'd need to do a set of alloys? I've used around 3 cans to do a set of wheels matt black before and I'd imagine a single can of metalizer would do?
