fellsteruk
Hi all, I have seen a fix on the forums for a dodgy fuel gauge but i wanted to check if what i have is the same issue and if so do you think i would get it sorted on warranty? I first noticed the issue when i filled the car but the fuel gauge would only show just under the Full line as shown here, i then noticed that the needle would drop a fair bit very quickly. I decided to leave it until the fuel light came on and noticed that i was driving around on "almost empty" for a while before the light came on: Here is what its showing after just 104 miles: My MPG and DTE seems to be reporting a normal figure, My MPG is about 27 and DTE is reporting about 250 miles left which with 104 already done is about right for me. Is this the same issue other have had, is it easy/cheap to fix or do i have a different issue all together? Thanks Stephen

Ebized
Not an uncommon problem http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54763-how-to-fix-the-inaccurate-fuel-gauge/
KyleR
Same problem, just don't try to do 400 miles on a tank and you'll be fine. Reset the trip and mpg computers each time you fill up and calculate it from that if you need to know how much is in there. Personally I just run about 30-40 miles on the light and then stick about 70 litres in it.
peteman35
What mine did. Means your lucky like me and only one of your fuel level senders is mucky. You have a 50% chance of getting it right. Good luck
SteveW
The drivers side sender is the primary one
