twobears
Daughter wants to go on a 2 hour quad bike 'experience' for her birthday so I have been looking up prices and it seems incredibly expensive, especially as I also have to pay for her boyfriend to go and, if they are both going, I want to go too Has anyone been on similar thing and, if so, where did you go and how much did you pay? I have been on an hour's trip before when we were on holiday in Cumbria but can't remember for the life of me how much I paid.
Ricey
How much your expect and house much you will are 2 totally different things! I'd pay about 50 quid for that .......wouldn't mind betting its over a tonne. All those experience things are horrifically overpriced. KyleR
£50 would be a nice price, but as Ricey says it's probably over 100. I might stretch to £75 if they're good quads and not those pathetic gutless 125/250cc junk that they usually use.
Will370z
How much your expect and house much you will are 2 totally different things!...... You been on the bubbly there ricey or do you have an overactive autocorrector lol

twobears
They are asking £158 each which seems overpriced to me. Apparently we get instruction but how much instruction can you possibly need??

Hahahahaha I assume that's the new Virgin 'quad biking on the moon' experience?
twobears
The Virgin what? No, it's just two hours quad biking at an outdoor activities centre in North Yorkshire. I don't go in for 'Red Letter Day' experiences myself because I know they are overpriced rubbish but daughter really wants to go quad biking and we haven't got any quad bikes so I need to find someone who hires them out and also somewhere off-road to take them. Ricey
I was being facetious ;-) Looks well over the top for my coin. £320.....stone me! Tell you what Annie give me a flat 300 and ill entertain you both for longer than 2 hours
r37
for that price can you not just buy a quad bike and take it down some green lanes?
twobears
Er, thanks for that rather dubious offer Ricey How much do quad bikes cost? Maybe I should get one. I've always fancied one. I expect the whippet would like to ride on the back when she's finished running - ha ha
ChrisS
You need another weekend in Wales. Safari prices. http://www.glasfryn...._quad_bikes.htm
CrumbMC
Well in the Canary Islands you can do pretty much the whole island for about 40 quid. So for the price you found you could probably fly there, do quaddige and fly back. Also make sure they aren't to up tight at the centre. Quads aren't fun unless you can dreeeiiift!! Woooooo
KyleR
£158 they can stick that right up their arse!
r37
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100cc-adults-quad-bike-/121164422369?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item1c35f65ce1 i cant imagine its terribly fast but wont be far off what you'll rent. pls you'd get more than 2 hrs out of it. Failing that going to the canaries sounds like a plan.
marzman
Is there anything on the Tesco Clubcard website with Quadbikes? Its normally the cheapest way of booking experiences etc as your vouchers are worth 4x more.
