Tinyflier
Gave my '06 a detailing today. Washed, clayed, washed, Dual Action rotary machined with Menzerna, IPA wipe-down and finished off with WetGlaze 2.0. Tyres dressed with SwissVax Pneu. Wheels cleaned with Billberry juice washed and microfibred dry (all the way through to the inner edge too -inside rims are as clean as outside - luckily I can get my hand through the spokes!). Engine bay light clean with engine degreaser, hosed off and treated with Aerospace 303. A few after pics (battery on camera ran out so limited number). Yes I know I need to do my exhaust tips - my own battery had run out of energy by then (well I am quite "mature" at 59!). Am quite pleased with results, hope you all like it too. Stutopia
Nice job. Looks mint. I'm getting too old (32) for applying stages by hand; how accessible is DA rotary for a beginner? I don't want to go making a mess of my reasonable paint.

I was a bit concerned when I first tried it but you have to work really REALLY hard to get it wrong with a DA. The elliptical orbit prevents you generating too much heat in a single spot (as you might with a straightforward rotary). Is a good idea to tape around edges and items such as wing repeater indicators and chose the right polishing compound. Have a good read on Detailing World for all the info.
