matthew jenner
hi there , im sure there are threads about this on here already, but thought i would try and get the advice i need, im from bournemouth and im looking to get a 350z in the next month, are there any local companies that i can speak to re: advice, or is there even a service where is they were paid they would come and check over the car i have shortlisted? i know the AA will do it , but i would of thought it was a more specialised service. If this does not exist, is there any advice anyone could give me to try and spot a good car, im no mecanic so some pointers would be good, i know i have to listen for knocks from the rear axel, but thats about all. Also is a 350z has done 70k miles, and has the original clutch is this bad news? Phew thats it for now i think! cheers matt
14N
Hello and Matt. I'm sure they'll be along shortly, but it's worth speaking to Keyser and Buster from The Zed Shed which is very near to you. What they don't know about a zed isn't worth knowing.
matthew jenner
thanks for that , i will look out for them , how close are they , as there seems to be a lack of specialists around the bournemouth area! cheers

KyleR
Your best bet is a local member going with you and there are a few in your neck of the woods. At 70k the clutch will probably need replaced soon if its not already slipping, all depends how it's been driven. 70k on the motorway doesn't require many gear changes, but 70k in town etc does. Keyser and Buster will sort that for you anyway
