Neilp
Has the spark plug leads/coils been mixed up? Have all the coils been checked that they are ok? Not sure which garages down your way but you may find that you will receive more help on here when the experts read this .

Darren-B
Either the leads or one of the tips have been squashed on the spark plugs
Rachaelclaire
We've checked all coils and bought a new coil pencil for plug 6 swapped plug six and four round driving us mad! Rachaelclaire
Meaning we've done all that and it's not worked any of it x
Darren-B
Have you checked all other cables, cam position sensor could pull this code if not plugged in correctly. Have you tried swapping the rear leads around?
ZMANALEX
You have got two of the coil pack leads mixed up on bank 2, resulting in running on only 4 cyls. In particular look at cyls number 4 and 6 as these are the two that you have most likely transposed. Alex. Rachaelclaire
Not checked any leads will so this tomorrow as its too dark to see we've had to give up tonight! The coils aren't mixed up we've already tried this! X
Rachaelclaire
We've been told a possible vacuum leak or spark plugs but changes spark plugs to NGK iridium already x

Rachaelclaire
ZMANALEX Today, 21:20 The fix is in post number 11. Alex. We've already tried that and it hasn't worked thanks tho
Stutopia
I've heard/read reasonable reports of here http://www.middlehurst-nissan.co.uk/our-services/nissan-high-performance-centre/ not used it myself though, but I'd recheck what the Zman says before getting out your BF's wallet. Good luck.
Neilp
ZMANALEX Today, 21:20 The fix is in post number 11. Alex. We've already tried that and it hasn't worked thanks tho As other have said. Alex knows more than most people on these cars and 10 out of 10 times he's correct. Have u adjusted the throttle body in any way when changing parts? This can cause issues also but not similar to what your saying. It's worth doing a throttle body reset procedure. It can be found in the guide section of the forum

It can be found in the guide section of the forum The only part of the engine that has been touched is the inlet plenum manifold, we've had a mechanic working on it but he's now run out of ideas, I appreciate all the help you guys are giving we'll try some more tomorrow! But everything mentioned about the coils etc we've tried and it's still just got not power when driving just feels sluggish and @*!# and still showing the code PO300 on diagnostics
Neilp
The inlet plenum/manifold is has the throttle body attached to it. Do a throttle body reset first of all before trying anything else. If the mechanic is struggling then take it to one of the specialists mentioned on here.
Ricey
The Powerhouse in sandycroft have worked on a few zed's now and they've got really good mechs working there. Might be a little closer than Warrington if its running like a bag of spanners.
Ricey
WARNING please do not be tempted to take it to Nissan. They don't know their arse form their elbow round here.
KyleR
With the car idling, remove the grey connector for plug 6 (nearest pax) and plug 4 (to the left of it) and see if there is any change, this will help you locate which cylinder it is. If its not those 2, try the other plugs one at a time. The plug lay out for bank 2 should look like this: Edited August 21, 2013 by KyleR
Rachaelclaire
Thanks for all the replies guys! Going to try some more when we finish work! Never using this bloody mechanic again he's about as useful as chocolate spanner! Thanks guys!!
ZMANALEX
Providing your mechanic has not done something stupid and the plugs are all good and he has not got cyls 4 an 6 mixed up then another thing to check are the 3 x prongs on each coil pack as they are easy to damage by the untrained. Are you not able to trace the fault to a particular cyl. ? Your issue should be relatively easy to trace and fix. Alex.
Rachaelclaire
To be honest, I don't think he knows what the hell he's done! Booking it in to The Powerhouse in Sandycroft on Tuesday, so holding out hope David can sort it! Thanks for all the help!
