karlh
Hmmm I'm pretty sure I saw few pics on US forum with sparco bar fitted with support rods! And people said it was perfect figment! The Sparco bar I received had no support rods - just the bar and two brackets that bolted to the B-pillars where the factory seat belt shoulder loops are located. If someone has pictures of a Sparco bar installed in a Z with support rods, I would love to see them. The fittment problems I mentioned had to do with the factory shoulder loops. 2003 and 2004 Zs have just the loop. 2005 and later models have a short arm that extends the shoulder loop forward to reduce wear on the outside shoulder of the seats. The Sparco bars were designed before 2005 and do not allow the extender arm to be installed with the bar. You need to revert to the 2003-2004 design, which I found unacceptable. paulashy
You got any pictures of the half cage fitted? How easy was it to fit? Could you retain most of the interior or did it mean stripping it out? Also is your bolt in or weld in? Sorry for all the questions
Vlad
Yea, pictures in my build thread! It's bolt in type and you only take some of ur interior out to make it fit easier, ones it in all interior goes back in with a bit of cutting at the back
