zippypooz
Hi all, i'm looking at potential exhaust systems and was thinking, is it worth staying with the standard system or moving on to another...at the mo i'm looking at a new back box so would like a little advice...I do love the sound produced by the standard box but am open to suggestions for durability, chrome look and performance. Pricewise id like to see what I can get for a similar cost to a standard back box but maybe one better suited for performance maybe!!...or am I being greedy lol!! Thanks!! MITZ@CougarStore
Lots of choices available but worth noting that without an uprev the exhaust once fitted will be for sound only... What's your budget as we do exhausts from £374 through to £1500.00... If you wanted a step up from the OEM system without breaking the bank then the Cobra Sport system we do would fit the bill... Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Have a look on here: http://tarmac.silver-pride.com/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d There's sound clips on most if your on a desk/lap top. I'm thinking gains, not volume.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I can't really answer that, obviously the Amuse is highly praised and is Titanium but I'm not sure if its even available any more and who's going to pay £3k for an exhaust on a 350z ? The Motordyne or Fast Intentions are widely regarded as the best, if I still had a Zed I would probably buy a Motordyne. Both these are built to order, a lot of others are mass produced, make of that what you will, it's not necessarily a bad thing Have a look on here: http://tarmac.silver-pride.com/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d There's sound clips on most if your on a desk/lap top. Sized
SuperStu, the power gains that are due to the exhaust are basically all in the y-pipe and are pretty small. You basically buy a replacement zed exhaust for the sound and the improvement in quality. That said OP, I would do some more research - CS has already mentioned uprev, which is well worth getting but only once you have finalised supporting mods Edited August 17, 2013 by Sized
Stutopia
Thanks for the knowledge fellas, always good to learn. Apologies I meant to say system as opposed to exhaust, cats right back to tips. I also meant MOT safe. Sorry OP, didn't mean to hijack.

4RE Leather
so a dual is better than a Y pipe? what are the price differences if any?? Will you be at the Grasshopper tomorrow? If so there will be a large assortment for you to hear. Which I think is a must where exhausts are concerned. It's still underneath the car out of view. Such a shame. Bumper tuck sharp sorts that out.....I shall be investing in this as soon as my budget allows me. Seems such a shame to have something as beautiful as that sitting out of sight. The sound is a nice surprise for all bystanders though! Dave-350
I love my kakimoto system, I don't believe anything that you can buy on the UK market sounds quite as good!
theheff
I keep looking at single exit systems. I just think on jap cars they are right, i know they are a little taboo on here though. Ive currently got a blitz nur spec system. I personally think i struck lucky with it. Only heard it on youtube before i bought it on ebay but i think the sound is perfect. Quite rare in the uk aswell i think. I only know of mine and the system that ian on here had, if they arent one and the same.

I would much rather have what you bought and spent the balance on wheels or coilies .

Stutopia
Isn't single exit supposed to offer the best gains? I'd quite like a single, so long as it was one of those massive "oblong" lambo ones in the middle.

You have superb taste sir Nur Spec & single exit Single ftw, it just looks right on a Z IMO
rtbiscuit
Single exit looks wrong on a zed, its like putting stilettos on a man, or a beard on a lady. But as you can see there are always a few weirdos who like that kind of thing. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4
