Pistonzed Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 Help! I've just fitted a bluetooth phone kit and was loading in some numbers when the phone system seemed to die and just went quiet. The radio is now stuck on "Phone" mode and pressing any of the buttons (on the radio or steering wheel) does absolutely nothing. The worst thing is that the radio unit doesn't even swith off when I turn the engine off remove the keys and lock the car up!!! I've called Nissan and the service centre is on holiday today and the friendly sales men were as useful as a chocolate teapot. Any ideas as I guess the battery will be flat before the morning when I can get it to Nissan. I mechanic friend of recommended not disconnecting the battery as it could **** a load of other things up. Has this happened to anybody and what shall I do?? M13KYF Posted May 28, 2007 Share Posted May 28, 2007 seen this happen before. I think it's when the bluetooth looses its pairing while making a call.
