gort
Hi Guys. I've just transfered a pair of leather seats from a 2007 GT facelift into a non GT 2004 which had cloth seats, everything was OK till I came to the back floor bolt on the drivers seat nearest the door, as you can see from the pic the hole doesn't line up. were the seats changed in anyway on the facelift? OV53
Get yourself to Halfords and ask one of the kids in there if they have some offset bolts. They'll probably be a special order part like but I'm sure Halfords could get them in!
Benedunn
haha on a serious note, try loosening the other 3 bolts and see if you can move the seat into place then. if youve tryed that then i guess adie grinder (or file if you dont have 1) would do Ben
KyleR
I'm not aware of any changes to the seats, but there should be a guide pin on the of the feet to line it all up? I think it's the inside rear.
gort
Yes, I loosened all the bolts to see I could get a bit of movement, put that's as close as I could get to lining up the hole, so it looks like I'll have drill out the bracket to elongate the hole. jumping350
Maybe the bracket got slightly bent can you not bend it back slightly?
rodgeevans
plug the chair into the electrics unbolt the other back bolt, then move the chair back and forward on the sliders it will line up its, happens on manual seats all the time you just have to move it on the sliders till it all lines up Edited August 9, 2013 by rodgeevans
AliveBoy
That's got to be an issue with the seat mount, I can't see any rational reason that Nissan would say "Hey guys, next year lets move a single seat bolt 2mm further forwards." You could drill the hole out, however then you'd have runners that weren't parallel and when you move the seat you'd put a load of strain on the moving components. Do it nice or do it twice and all that....
OV53
Do it nice or do it twice and all that.... You sit the seat in position and fasten the 3 bolts that line up. Make sure the seat slides back and forth freely and then mark where the hole should be by eye. Then it's just a simple case of either drilling or filing it out. Or you could just bend it back into position in situ, making sure the seat moves freely before doing the final fasten. Either way it's gonna be a bit of a "makky do" job but you can only p iss with the c ock you're given.
Shenley
I know this sounds dumb.......... Fit the bolt that doesn't line up first- then fit the others........... Only torque them down when all four are fitted. Worth a try.

Richie94gts
I fitted facelift cloth seats in my '54 and they went in fine, surprised there's a difference. I remember doing something similar, I think mine weren't sat quite right. When I seated them correctly it all lined up. I think i placed the rear points first. Although sounds like you've already tried...
gort
Done , I used a Dremel with the seat in situ to elongate the hole
