If you over rev the engine above certain limits, Porsche do not fulfil the warranty for obvious reasons. Also, it does not cost £25k to rebuild a Mezger unless you've got serious numpties working on it. Hell, a brand new one is only £40K! I'll go read the Porker forums in a bit, see if I can get the companies involved names, but carrying the work out on your own back after it's been refused warranty because of over revs is madness.
