paulashy
In the process of changing my headunit and for some reason the airbag light has come on and is flashing at me. Anyone got any ideas what it might be? Or how to get rid of it? All the plugs are connected and seem to have no damage Cheers

Easty
Go on YouTube and put in "350z airbag light reset" it's brings loads of videos of how to reset it with the ignition key it's really easy and works. . .
BACON
I've done the reset procedure several times but light comes back on within 10 minutes of me starting my car up again. I've checked the "yellow" connector under the seat and it seems okay.......can I disconnect this connector and reconnect? If so, how do I disconnect the two halves? Please be kind as I'm definitely not technically minded!
Keyser
Its a clip on connector - press the clip in and pull the plugs apart - if you want to. Have you checked cables on both sides? Passenger side is usual culprit. If the light is coming back on it means the fault is still there.
Easty
If you can see the yellow connector there is a little gray bit that goes over the top you pull this up then you can disconnect it. . . . . When you reconnect it make sure you push it back down, it then locks it closed!! Just out of interest what was you playing with before the light started? georgerobertfreeman
Make sure there is nothing under the seat. I kept resetting my Airbag light and after varying amounts of time it would come back on. Turned out to be a magazine that kept setting it off, but I have also read it can be caused by a bottle rolling around.
