Zzzz...
Hello chaps... Have any of you got any experience with this OBD Datalogger? Seems an easy and potentially cheap way of gathering vehicle data from the OBDII connector. (PLUG and record data for x amount of time and then download it to PC and check stats... will even delete DTC from ECU?) http://www.davisnet.com/drive/products/ ... pnum=08211 or anyone has any OBDII datalogger equipment ( I mean datalogging not just "real time" visualisation) THANK YOU

mugwump
Im very interested............ I would prefer something that stored a few more channels from the CAN bus though (throttle position, revs, speed)
Zzzz...
What you need then is the CarChip #8221EX CarChipE/X includes all the features of CarChip, plus four times the data storageâ€â€up to 300 hours of driving data. (The actual number of hours will vary, depending on how frequently you log data.) As with CarChip, you'll get time and date for each trip, distance, speed, hard accelerations and decelerations, and engine diagnostic trouble codes. With CarChipE/X, though, you'll also be able to monitor any four out of 23 user-selectable engine parameters, including: • RPM • Throttle position • Engine load • Fuel pressure • Fuel system status • Short- and long-term-fuel trim • Battery voltage • Timing advance • Coolant temperature • Air flow rate • Intake air temperature • Intake manifold pressure • Oxygen sensor voltage Plus, if you're unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident, CarChipE/X will automatically generate an accident log showing the last critical 20 seconds of speed. Includes data logger, software on CD, and USB cable for downloading data. yours for the sum of ...180 dollars... from this website http://carchip.co.uk/store/product_list ... _group=101 i might have to go this way myself... but i am trying to get a ebay special... scrooge that I am....
