MarkZ
Hello all, I have a 62 plate 370z GT Edition. Only had it a couple of months now but as you can see two of the wheels the lacquer is starting to peel! I think this is shocking for such a new car....... has anyone else had this problem? Please see below: I bought my car as an ex - demo, I'm sure if the problem is down to the factory finish on the alloys. Or if the dealership I bought the car from just did a really @*!# refurb job on a couple of the alloys before it went out? Both are N/S What are your thoughts? Many thanks in advance..... ddcboyle
Presumably its covered in their warranty and your able to take it back to them? Its obvious not your own fault as its on the inside of the spokes
Ebized
Have you compared one of the wheels on the off side with the 2 problem wheels? I think your suspicion about a refurb by the dealer is spot on as that lacquer that is peeling does not look OEM to me.
350 Russ
someone probably kurbed them on a test drive and they had them refurbed, still poor though
Will370z
Straight back to the dealer and get them to sort it
The G Man
These will be renewed under warranty, do not accept repair. Contact Nissan direct if offered a repair.
Crb
I used to have a navarra bought from a Nissan dealer.... After 18 months all four alloys flaked so they fitted a new set of wheels foc under warranty
