funkythumb42
Sad to say the 350z is going the distance due to increased mileage and the fact ive never really gotten on with the car. Ive been offered 4.5k on trade in at a dealership 53 reg, gt pack, tan leather 75k on the clock with nissan service history. Would you say this is a decent price? The gearbox is crunching in 5th and 6th also....so i think its a good time to let go. Cheers, Greg
ddcboyle
4.5 seems pretty low?? Would have thought 5.5 at the least?
Flex
Sounds pretty good, they're probably getting a good margin on the car you're buying to offset against the trade in.
funkythumb42
I though it was pretty good....i bought the car for 5.5k in october 2012 so im happy.....and as i say the gearbox is starting to crunch which could end up pricey.... sorry to say its going for a diesel vw golf, mile munching up and down the motorways!! funkythumb42
I know they are, when i test drove some vw's i nearly put the clutch through the floor and pulled the gearstick off after drving the z. BUT the synchros are totally brown bred in 5th and 6th have to let the revs drop before i can shift up :-(
WhackyWill
Theres a 2003 on eBay (see my post) for £7,000, makes your's very cheap.
funkythumb42
Most on autotrader with similar mileage are going for 5200 - 5800 range. I bought it for 5.5 so im happy with 4.5 as trade in as you always take a hit. 7k is overpriced unless its a minter and very low mileage id say
spursmaddave
4.5k is on the money for a trade in, maybe 5.5k for private sale...
sidewayz350z
Sounds a good fair trade price mate
SimonPG
I'd say thats not bad for trade in, you could obviously possibly get a bit more private
