Ecu problem?

Can any one shine some light or give me any ideas on this,

My fans suddenly stopped working and as I was fault finding on the cooling system I may have inadvertently spiked my ecu. I found a blown fuse on the power module behind the battery and have replaced that.

I have replaced my fans. And water temperature sensor.

I have no temperature indication on my dash now. it doesn't move. This did work before I spiked the ecu.

I have 5v on one side of the sensor and on the other side for some reason I have 10v. I've checked continuity between the sensor and the ecu and that all fine.

The car starts in 'safe mode' and I have plugged it into a friends diagnostic and it says there's a fault with the Maf sensor. So I have also replaced that and it's still the same. So this is what's making me think there's a problem with the ecu.

Does any one have any suggestions?

Can I just swap and ecu or are they all coded? Is it a big job/hassle?

Thanks

Steve

Preowned ECUs can be fitted and reprogrammed but it is not a DIY as the NATS code will have to "removed" etc.

Preowned ECUs are in stock and good to go same/next day.

Just drop me a PM if I can help you further.

Alex. :)
