JimmyJam75
First of all, once again this forum proves incredibly valueable in helping to diagnose this problem! Thanks to all who posted on this subject. My problem, is that I'm just not mechanically skilled enough to attempt the grease fix. So, I'll call my nearest dealer (slough or reading) for a quote but I suspect it'll be silly. Out of interest, can anyone recommend a local garage / workshop for this kind of thing? (local to Bracknell. Thanks!
cs2000
No-one close by to assist? Id offer but im in Suffolk, bit far for you to drive. REALLY simple in all honesty, after the wheels are off its 1 bolt, a few light taps with a hammer, lube up and then re-tighten the bolt. if you print out the guide and give it to any local garage you trust it shouldn't be more than 1 hrs labour + materials (unless you provide the lube too, which id highly recommend). Or, yet another thought, come to the Ace Café meet in a week and a half http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66360-350z-370z-ace-cafe-london-meet-sat-aug-3rd-11am-4pm and then were going to RT's after, they would do it or you (probably before though). JimmyJam75
Hey cs2000 thanks for the info on this Tried calling the local-ish dealers yesterday (West London Motor Group) and couldn't get through to any services team, so will try again. But yeah, I reckon I'll end up going to a local garage with the details printed :~)
Katy
I went to a local garage (in Surrey) and had them do this for me a fortnight ago for £43. Just short of one hours labour... Best few quid I've EVER spent.
JimmyJam75
Thanks Katy, this is the route I'm going down as I can't even get hold of my 'local' Nissan dealers... ! (very poor at anwering their phones).
