da_ansa
Very odd one here. sometimes i only seem to get sound from the right handside of my car. it seems very random. ive noticed under medium braking that the sound will come from both sides of speakers and also under steady moderate accelarating. It may be a loose wire but the set up is all completley standard and hasnt been touched to the best of my knowledge. Does anyone know where i should start looking in terms of how to repair this fault? Thanks Michael
WhackyWill
The Bose unit in the Zed is rubbish, nothing but trouble. skips on CD...Remove it and fit a decent unit ..
da_ansa
Do you reckon the fault lies with the head unit? I do like having the built in Bluetooth lol
Pnthrblkzs
Its a common problem with the Bose unit, search "left speaker cut out" or something similar. The problem lies with a ribbon that wears inside the unit, there are guides on here somewhere which explain two to dismantle the unit and re-seat the ribbon, i'm not sure new ribbons can be bought now though. I had this issue with my standard head unit along with CD's skipping and thought it easier to swap it out.
