Jp606
What's the high octane petrol situation like in France? Thinking of a road trip there next year and wondering if high octane is easily available?

Wayne370Z
One last thing before you go... get a small label that you can stick in the car somewhere that is in your direct line of sight and write on it .... KEEP RIGHT as when you stop for petrol/coffee or a break your conc entration goes and you can find yourself pulling out onto the wrong side of the road. Its happened to me a couple of times Good point. Was driving to Barcelona few years ago and having trouble finding our first stop in France late at night after major hold up for an accident on the motorway, was completely lost and after a U turn ended up driving down some country lane on the left hand side of the road until the approaching headlamps loomed larger and larger and then swerved around us ! Also, I remember having to carry replacement bulbs too. Edited July 23, 2013 by Wayne370Z
