Pete87
I think it's abit out of order taking the **** out of people's spellings in case they do have problems I am also dyslexic and don't find it funny. It's his car at the end of the day and its up to him how he spends his money some people don't want to spend thousands but still wish to improve there cars.
Ekona
That's the point. He hasn't improved it. He's taken out separate components and replaced them with coax. It's like taking the V6 out of your Zed and replacing it with a 1.8L 4-pot from a 1980's Escort.
Ekona
Dyslexia is fine btw. Just run the text through a spell checker before posting (mine is built-in with Firefox) and it'll correct 99% of the mistakes for you. You did pretty well, I'd never have guessed at all
Dblock
Im not one of these believers that 1000pound speakers are 10x better than 100pound. is a 60k car 10x better than a 6k zed and it goes on nothing works like that. Sit in a car that has a good setup doesn't even have to be expensive but just good and you will hear what you can be missing out on.
ph 7
Jeez, just screw the audio and put your right foot down more. Best sound there is. Ultimately people will look at every avenue for the zed rightly or wrongly. Without these people we wouldn't know what works and what doesn't and we would all have the same car with the same mods. Go forth and succeed or go forth and fail and try again; either way the forum grows with useful information.
OV53
Im not one of these believers that 1000pound speakers are 10x better than 100pound. Well they are.......I've competed in EMMA events in the past with my ST170 and won and I can safely say that if you are fortunate enough to be able to install speakers like ones from the Pioneer ODR range that are £1000 a pair then you will have a setup that is easily 10x better than one with any £100 speakers. Mark Turner installed and helped me with my setup back then. Car audiophiles will recognise that name as being one of the FOUR Masters, who has won competitions at Master level all around Europe competing for Team Pioneer. He spent around £30k on his install and it was like having the person singing in the songs right next to you. The sizes of the trophies speak for themselves! I know most of you are probably wondering what I'm getting at so I'll conclude.... With sound equipment you do get what you pay for, monetary value may not necessarily be directly proportional but it is damn close! I know that my £1500 sound system in the Focus was easily 10 times better than the £100 or so that I spent on my first ever car's system and I know that Mark's £30k system absolutely obliterated my Focus' system. Do it nice or do it twice!
ddcboyle
I think I will need to listen to someomes audio who is like 3k+ so I understa d lol. My bose sounds like theres someone singing next to me, but might need to upgrade ears before stereo if I still think that after hearing 3k stereo
