RDON
hi folks. quick question!! does anyone have a template for the front grill bumper that they could send to speed up my new project! I am going to manufacture a stainless steel grill with either holes, squares of ovals, not quite decided yet will decide as I draw it. but it would really help if a member had a template so I can make proto types easier then? thanks guys. fellsteruk
Lucky you... I have just ordered some mesh and some rubber edge trim for once its cut... All for £20 if i dont manage to botch it up it should look at good as the the pre-cut ones for a fraction of the price
Tinyflier
Facelift or Pre Facelift? I have just taken the Zun-sport grille off my Facelift and could use that as a template if it helps. David
Dayy
And I've still not manage to get my Zunsport grill on my Facelift yet, so can also provide info if needed. Though I can't seem to get mine to fit so maybe not the best person to ask

RDON
so with the Zun sport do you have to cut away the existing grill bars and mounts to fit that?
Tinyflier
so with the Zun sport do you have to cut away the existing grill bars and mounts to fit that? On the facelift you need to remove the painted slat covers. A bit of a pain but can be done by reaching down from the top through the hole where the bonnet catch is and unscrewing the screws. The Zunsport grille fits directly into the grille opening and you fix it by screwing through the grille directly into the plastic slats you revealed when you removed the painted covers. The Zunsport has 4 mounting guides on the back, can't really go wrong. David Edited July 2, 2013 by Tinyflier
RDON
ahh ok David sounding promising!! so I could use the Zun sport I guess as an external size template and then look at making the grill to existing OEM fitments. Any chance you could draw round it and send me the template please?
