350z UK models (was there a Track / Touring version or is this US spec only)

Hi guys,

 

I'm about to buy a 2004 350z with GT pack.

As far as I aware there were a only 3 different models 2003-(2005)

 

350z

350z with GT pack

350z GT4

 

But I've just discovered that there might be two different versions of the 350z in the UK? Track & Touring.

Is this an american spec that I'm getting confused about?

 

The car I'm buying is with the Touring alloy wheels and not the RAYS forged. Is that the only difference between the two models? I'm all about the driving experience - i.e. I like driving fast and not bothered about the ride. Do the wider rear Rays alloys feel different?

 

I'm going for the touring alloys version because of my budget - compared to a car with the Rays alloys - as well as the car having relatively low mileage.

 

Am I better of spending more now and getting a 350z with the Rays wheels (over 1k more at least) - or should I get the 350z with the touring wheels, and then buy new lightweight Rays alloys separately with the money I've saved? If I go for this last option - am I missing out on any other features?

the track and touring versions were American. the only difference with the rays are that their lighter. I just got the touring wheels with mine which I personally think look better than the rays but ended up buying rotas anyway
