fellsteruk
Hi all, When i picked up my z last weekend i had it on the lift quickly after to give it the once over all was very well considering the age of the car however what i can only describe as a rear bracket/strut was a little damaged, looks like it was caught on something at some point all pipes and everything ok just this bracket. Looking to replace and waxoil the underside before winter and just wondering 1. what is the name of this part and 2. any cheap places to source? Have highlighted the part on the attached image. Stutopia
Alex supplied for me when mine was corroded to sh!t. He also explained to me they are held on by mounting bits at each end (which I couldn't see) and they were corroded too when checked. Saved me finding out too late and going in the garage twice! Might be worth checking your endy bits are straight if your w brace is impact damaged. Edited June 26, 2013 by SuperStu
