3sjr
So I have a nismo rear spoiler and I am thinking that is lacking a little something to show it off at night. I'm thinking of wiring a strip of LEDs in the corner where the spoiler bends down toward the body. Question is has anyone done this yet ? I will upload photos tomorrow so people know more of what the hell I'm on about.

Dayy
Ahem http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a2e0d3091 Nothing wrong with Green Neons - I'm getting mine fitted soon !!!! To be honest, I was always under the impression they were illegal. I remember about 8 years ago a friend of mine was on about getting it done but said it was illegal on the outside, so had to get stuff on the inside instead. *shrug* I actually think it can look nice if done right
The Chubby Ninja
theyre only illegal if youre driving around on the road with them switched on.their ok for shows and things.
3sjr
Im only on about approx 5 leds each side cor mine. Actually under car neons aren't illegal for driving on the road also, as long as you cannot see the light source but you can only see the glow on the road then they are perfectly legal. There is a legal document that a friend of mine use. To keep while running them and any hassle with the cops he would just show it and all be fine. ddcboyle
Haha go for it u can sit next to me at 350z meets when I get my green undercar neons only thing id say is make the glow equal, even around the wheels. That pic shows gaps which looks a bit crap Edited June 26, 2013 by ddcboyle

Jaz 350z
I think this could look very nice, but it needs to be done tastefully. Get on Photoshop, see how it looks best.
Ekona
Undercar neons? Is it 1997 again?
Jaz 350z
Im fairly sure he is not vaguely interested in under car neons.... my understanding is that he wants some lights on his spoiler? If this can be done, I would try to make them brake lights....
3sjr
Yup im not interested in under car neons just the conversation just went that way. DDC I will try and find the document for you buddy, as long as the bulbs arent visible no problem (although there was a problem with the ones under the front being blue) I assume your going green though. Yup im literally talking about 5 very small red brake leds in a strip under the spoiler that will only be active when the brakes are pressed, cant use photo shop to save my life so they have just been ordered and if it looks s£$t they will go in the bin. I always presumed a glow underneath the car was still illegal, visible bulb or not I don't know the law about under lighting but I watched one of those traffic cop TV shows and some young guy was pulled up by the police for exhibiting some blue lights under his car. The cops said that blue lights are reserved for emergency vehicles only. Pete Edited June 26, 2013 by JetSet
