Sarnie
Well he came to see it, im a bit sussed and i think he tried to play the old "i thought it was a GT spec car" to get me to lower the price by more than i wanted to. The ad clearly does not say it is GT and had leather, unless ive gone mad! Anyway, i told him the lowest price i am willing to go down to and he will let me know as he is seeing a few other cars tomorrow and on the weekend. However he did say it was the best kept one he has seen so far, which is good to know. BTW - does anyone know what a car like mine should be going for? 54 plate, 16k miles, non gt, very very good condition? Mate I've just looked at your ad. In my opinion your ad should say exactly what it is, not just not say its not a GT if you get me? EG I think your ad should say 'NON GT' as opposed to just not mentioning it and leaving it to buyers guesing, hoping or assumming. Might save you the time of people coming to view who don't want a non GT etc Just my 2p's worth, if its worth that I have to disagree there. I think it should state exactly what it is with a full description. I would say it had cloth upholstery etc but I would not say Non GT. That would be like advertising a house as not having a downstairs toilet. Never point out a negative - that way they may still come to see it and fall in love with it! But not if they want a GT I agree in part with what you say but my point was to avoid time wasters like the one SL114 has had. By stating that its a NON GT is simply stating the spec of the car. People will come expecting leather and heated seats and leave feeling disappointed. Imagine SL114 sticks it on ebay and doesn't mention that its a non GT. The auction winner comes to pick it up and stamps his feet saying I thought it was a GT and refuses to buy it, what a ball ache.

Guest prescience
Me as well, there is no such car as a 'non-GT' anyway Just checked my Ad and I called it 'Base' - so, yes I'm a hypocrite coz there's no such model as Base either
sl114
Hmm i see what you all mean to be honest, i guess i would rather people come and view it than not just because it is just a 350z If someone wins it on ebay, the ad does not say it is a GT and they should ask a question, it will be their fault if they do not read the ad properly i guess. I will have a think and decide what to do

True, but you'll be the one left with the listing fee's and your zed. Its a binding agreement but outside of eBay is useless. Whats the worse you can do? Leave him negative feedback??? I'd be happy to take the negative feedback and not pay load of dough for a car I didn't want. Ebay can be good but it can also unearth a lot of timewasters.... My god I had zillions of (pathetic) offers and could of sold it 20 times over, well for £12k anyway... I had about 10 traders contact me after the said date hoping I'd be desperate for a sale.......
