Daryl Posted June 16, 2013 Share Posted June 16, 2013 Well, finally the wait is over! After my embarrising accident on the thursday before the Easter weekend, i picked my Zed up on Friday. First thing it needed was fuel, but after that, its been great to have the car back. First impressions (if you can call them that) are how snug the cabin feels compared to the hatchback i was driving in, and how heavy the steering feels, but the gearshift feels great, and i love the power all the way through the rev range. The bodyshop has done a brilliant job i think, and the blending with the rest of the car is seemless, apart from the rear bumper, which apparently has been sprayed before. But you have to be really looking, and it could be just the plastic/metal comparisons. Sounds really good too, I forgot just how good a sports exhaust sounds on these. My only regret, is hot having the money to get the whole car painted, as the old/new is very evident with the lack of stone chips etc, but as im getting married in a couple of months, il wait until next year to do that i think.
