14N
Hi all, My interior light has left me in the dark. The bulbs haven't gone, as they both still work when pressing them on/off. Bit they've suddenly stopped illuminating when I take the key out the ignition and/or I open a door. Any ideas? Can you help shed some light? (Sorry) EDIT: The windows still drop when opening a door, so I don't think it's a door micro switch issue, plus as the lights don't come on when removing the key, suggests (to me) its something other than this too. Is there a fuse or something that just partially controls the lights when opening doors and/or removing the key? ilogikal1
Is the switch still set to "door" rather than "off"?
14N
Is the switch still set to "door" rather than "off"? Oh god.... I hadn't even noticed that switch. They must've knocked it when doing the tint yesterday. Lets just not tell anyone about this okay?

On the bright side (I'm not even sorry about that pun), it's a cheap and easy fix.
14N
Funny thing is, I did a little Googling to see if I could find an answer and the search results did return quite a few answers from the American forums for users reporting the same, or very similar issues. They all suggested performing a reset by opening the doors, opening the windows, leave them open then disconnect the battery for 5 mins. Not one response I saw suggested that they check the switch. Cheers ilogikal1 Even though you have highlighted my own stupidity!
AMT
haha! Could be worse mate, on my old car I couldn't get the passenger window to go up, took to my mate (whos a decent truck mechanic) and he ended up taking the door card inside and everything off...only for both of us to realise... wait... the childlock lol!
